WHY MY APPROACH OVERRIDES YOUR DEFENSES...AND FEELS LIKE SANCTUARY

You probably didn’t come here to be unraveled.
You came to be seen — just enough, not too much.
You wanted insight without interrogation.
You didn’t want to feel called out.
But then… you did.
And somehow, it didn’t feel like being exposed.
It felt like being recognized.
I didn’t set out to become a coach.
I didn’t study technique so I could lead people somewhere.
I just always had people - strangers, friends, patients -
suddenly telling me things they’d never said aloud.
And almost always, some version of:
“I don’t know why I’m telling you this.”
“This just came out.”
"I don't tell anyone these things..."
It wasn’t because I asked....though the body does tell me a lot...
It was because I saw them.
Not their behavior. Not their mask.
Their soul.
And something in that kind of seeing
makes people feel safe enough to speak.
I’ve always spoken in images, in metaphor, in story.
Not because I’m trying to be poetic — but because that’s how truth moves through me.
Somewhere along the way, I realized:
people hear differently when truth shows up gently.
Wrapped in a parable, a memory, a flick of the tail.
I think that’s why so many soul teachers —
from Jesus to mystics, poets, even songwriters —
speak in metaphor more than instruction.
It’s not about explaining.
It’s about remembering.
And when someone hears a story that vibrates at the frequency of their truth…
the defenses drop.
And the soul steps forward.
That’s what I do.
I don't push or provoke, I just offer a reflection, quietly angled,
until something softens in you and says,
“Yes… that’s me.”
My gift isn’t in calling people out.
It’s in calling them back — to themselves.
And that’s why, when you sit with me — even in passing conversation —
it doesn’t feel like therapy.
Or coaching.
Or advice.
It feels like a sanctuary.
So if you ever find yourself saying more than you meant to,
don’t worry — you’re not losing control.
You’re just finally somewhere safe enough
for your truth to speak.
When you're in a space where you can drop your defenses
because you feel seen, you have a wonderful opportunity to take a
deep dive into everything you've been hiding from. If you're ready to start exploring in a group setting, check out one of the Deep Dive Events.
