What Do I Really Mean When I Talk About Root Healing?

It's likely something different from each practitioner's perspective, but for me, it's about getting to the thing that causes your symptoms. OK, I get it, that sounds pretty standard...until I get to the "thing."

In my experience, as a practitioner, as a people watcher, and as a pattern tracker, I have noticed there is a nervous system wiring that is at the root of our issues. And where does that come from? Usually our childhood. During our development when we lacked some sort of attunement we needed. When we were forced to be responsible for someone else's feelings because we had to cultivate safety in inconsistent environments. When something was impressed upon us, again and again, that was out of alignment with our true nature. That is the root that I hope to help unearth.
It could be pain in your body that this emotional root is activating. Oftentimes, we force the body to hold what we won't or can't face emotionally, and at a certain point, I've observed, it just stops agreeing to bear the burden without your attention. But it could also be digestive upset. The conversations we don't have stagnating our liver. The worry or deliberation over these unspoken conversations, weakening our spleen. And the resulting IBS that interferes with daily life.

Not everyone comes here and works with me at this depth. It isn't a requirement for treatment or results. But what I want more than anything for my patients is for them to be empowered to care for themselves wholly and no longer need me (though I will always miss them when they're gone). Without this work, I can get them to a pretty good place physically, but without understanding the true root, the issue is likely to manifest again down the line, and I've seen that too.
Patients that work with me at the physical root level of their issue get to points where they see me very infrequently, coming back only if something flares. The ones that get to the depths with me are the ones that show up on my table year after year with more of a desire to be here than a need to fix anything. They've been given the map to freedom from what brought them to me in the first place, and they take it, checking in for recalibration as needed.
