THE CLARITY YOU CAN'T FEEL YET: WHEN THE MIND MOVES ON BUT THE BODY STILL HOLDS

There’s a specific kind of patient I often see in my practice. They’ve done the inner work. They’ve read the books. They’ve had the hard conversations.
They’re not stuck in the past mentally. But their body still is.
The symptoms show up differently for each person:
Exhaustion without a clear cause
Digestive issues that spike with stress
Chronic tension in the hips, jaw, or legs
Feeling flat or dissociated even when life is “better now”
And what I’ve come to understand is this: Insight is nothing without integration. In fact, it is often more fuel for the fire, sending you into endless stress loops.
You can move on, but your body might still be waiting for something...a sign that it’s safe, a permission to let go, or just someone who knows how to listen to what it’s saying without making it speak out loud. And what it is doing in the meantime is hijacking you to maintain an environment that it perceives as safe. You may be well acquainted with that hamster wheel...
That’s where acupuncture comes in.
It doesn’t require you to talk, explain, or rehash. It just meets your body where it’s been holding, and helps it find another path.
Sometimes, I use point combinations that aren’t from any textbook. They’ve emerged from working with patients whose minds are clear but whose bodies are still echoing the past.
The work we do together doesn’t overwrite your story. It lets your body stop begging to re-read the same chapter.
If the mind has already moved forward but something in the body still hasn’t shifted, this may be the layer that’s been waiting to be addressed...without judgement, without rehashing; just support for integration.
If your mind knows it’s time to move on—but your body hasn’t caught up—you’re not alone.
Come meet me in person, ask your questions, and see if the space feels right for the kind of work you’re ready for.
