About the Recipe

Use when you’re tired but wired, feel emotionally flat or fragile, or experience mild dizziness, brain fog, or fatigue after your period or poor sleep. This tea builds without overstimulating - perfect for replenishment after doing too much.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 dried jujube dates (red dates), pitted if possible

  • 1 tbsp dried goji berries

  • 16–20 oz water

Preparation

  • Rinse the jujube and goji briefly under warm water.

  • Place in pot or heat-safe jar and cover with boiling water.

  • Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes (or steep if using a jar).

  • Drink warm; you can eat the goji berries and softened dates if desired.

Primary Symptoms

Fatigue, emotional dullness, lightheadedness, low resilience

Notes and Variations

  • Add ginger if feeling cold or sluggish

  • Reduce jujube if bloated or sensitive to sugars

  • Add a few dried longan if emotionally depleted or grieving

  • Works well as an afternoon pick-me-up without caffeine
